Not sure why, but it looks like Fresenious Dialysis unit does not want us getting any messages out while they have us strapped into LaZy Boys. They seem to block anything for blogging, aol, facebook and other fun sites... no streaming video either. Thank goodness the kids taught me how to get around Facebook being blocked. It really bothers me that they block so much stuff, I am an adult and should be allowed to use the internet as I see fit... if the blocking is for the employees... then what kind of message is that? I am supposed to trust these people with my life, but their own employer doesn't trust them to not watch porn all night... huh.
Yesterday was a busy day. I got up, still feeling sick, with a cold in my throat. I picked up Vicki and headed to Augusta for brunch at the Senator Inn. It was busy... but busy buffet means fresh... I ate too much, but it was yummy... it was nice visiting with Ariel, Donna, Vicki, Helene and Tony... remembering Laurie. After brunch I went home and got Ashleigh and we drove up to Orono for auditions... Lord Hall at UMaine. It was really fun to see campus... Lord Hall is just a bit down the road from my old dorm Hancock Hall.
BlueBird Auditions were weird and not great. Basically everyone got a number and we went into a room about 8 at a time and answered questions from the director and a couple of producers were present. They hardly asked us anything and then ran out of time, we were the last group of the night and were rushed. It was not worth the rise all the way up to Orono, and I am glad I was not called back today, cause it would have been a pain in the butt to drive back up again. Not sure if we will bother going in to be extras if asked... we'll see, no idea where they are filming.
We ate supper at Pat's Pizza in Orono, I love that it never changes... it is the same as it was 20 years ago when I lived up there... the pizza is different but good. We left and drove home, just in time for me to get to dialysis... I didn't sleep well, but I did finish my book "Midnight in the Moonlight" and read the prologue of the next book, "Strangers in the Moonlight" but I can't actually find the second book.
Until next time...
